Purchase Order Invoicing incorrect Inventory quantities

Purchase Order Packing Slips were matched to a Vendor Invoice that has an incorrect quantity. Packing Slip quantity does not equal the Invoiced quantity to which the Packing Slip is matched.

Pending PO invoices exist which might prevent users from Invoice updating purchase orders

During purchase order invoicing and matching, a record is created in the PurchParmTable that has a job status of Waiting. This record prevents other users from matching an invoice to the same packing slip. However, if the client session is disconnected, this record remains in the PurchParmTable table. This record prevents all users from matching a new invoice against this packing slip. This issue can be easily fixed by deleting the record. To do this, access Accounts receivable, Inquiries, History, and then Invoice history and matching details or Approval journal history and matching details when the invoice was initiated from the Approval journal or the Invoice pool.

Subledger journals exist which are waiting to be transferred to the ledger

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 introduced the option to delay posting the sub ledger journals to the ledger. This option helps improve performance and uses batch functionality to balance the load and summarize ledger transactions.

However, if the sub ledger journals are waiting to be transferred, customers do not see the expected ledger transactions when they post from any of the sub ledgers, such as Accounts payable (purchasing), Accounts receivable (sales), or Inventory.

A possible reason why the sub ledger journals are not transferred is batch server settings problems. For example, this issue can occur in the scenario in which the AOS is not set up as a batch server, and the Batch group, which is set up to transfer the sub ledger journals, is not assigned to any batch server.
