This article describes the issues that are fixed in the updates for the Windows Library for JavaScript.

The issues that are fixed in each version of the Windows Library for JavaScript:

'Microsoft.WinJS.1.0' version 1.0.9200.20789 (August 8, 2013)

  • When the screen resolution is higher than 1920 x 1080, the WinJS FlipView control has an overflow issue in calculating item coordinates.

'Microsoft.WinJS.1.0' version 1.0.9200.20512 (September 26, 2012)

  • In a WinJS.UI.DatePicker object, text that uses a right-to-left language (for example, text that uses Hebrew) is displayed in the left-to-right direction.
  • When multiple calls to the setAttribute method are run, you experience slow performance on the computer.

'Microsoft.WinJS.1.0' version 1.0.9200.20498 (September 4, 2012)

  • When you create temporary objects that reference long-lived data in Windows 8, Windows Store apps that depend on the Windows Library for JavaScript experience memory leaks. Additionally, if a binding listener has a state, all binding listeners may stay on temporary objects.
