To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Press the Windows logo Key+R to open the Run box.
- Type regedit in the Run box, and then press Enter.
- Locate and then select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
- On the Edit menu, click New, and then click DWORD(32-bit) Value .
- Type LsaAllowReturningUnencryptedSecrets, and then press Enter.
- Right-click LsaAllowReturningUnencryptedSecrets, click Modify�, type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
