You cannot use the Office add-in to generate documents that contain data that was valid in past or will be valid in future in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Symptoms

Assume that you use a static Application Object Tree (AOT) query that uses the HcmEmployment table as data source in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. When you try to apply the query in Microsoft Word by using the Office add-in, employment details of exiting employees are returned. However, the employment details of past and future employees are not returned. Therefore, you cannot use Office add-in to generate documents that contain data that was valid in past or will be valid in future.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
