Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of PowerPoint 2013 and Office Home and Student 2013 RT. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open a presentation that contains a slide with a table in PowerPoint 2013 .
    • You start Microsoft Narrator on your computer.
    • You use the keyboard to focus on the table in the slide.
In this scenario, Narrator incorrectly reads the table as "shape."
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open a presentation that contains a slide with comments in PowerPoint 2013.
    • You start Narrator on your computer.
    • You use the keyboard to focus on the comment text in the comments pane.
In this scenario, Narrator does not read the comment text as expected.
