A country-specific update to add EHF collection letters for Norway is available for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1 and for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

EHF collection letters for Norway

Conditions

• The Norway configuration key must be activated.
• In the Currency form that is called from Exchange rates (click General Ledger and then click Setup), ISO currency codes must be specified for all currency codes. The ISO code for e-invoices should follow the standard ISO code for currency and therefore be three characters long.
• In the Country form that is called from Addresses (click Basic, and then click Setup), ISO country codes must be specified for all countries. The ISO code for e-invoices should follow the standard ISO code for countries and therefore be two characters long.
• The scope of this feature is to produce collection letters in the required format and to save the letters in a file location. Send and receive details are then set up in Application Integration Framework (AIF) by an administrator. Or, a third-party tool can be used in this case.
• AIF must be set up, and the company must already be running electronic collection letters in the EHF format.
• The company must be enabled to send electronic collection letters in the EHF format.

Set up for EHF collection letters

1. In the Accounts Receivable list, click Periodic, click Interest and collection letter, and then click Creation of collection letter.
2. Enter the selection criteria, and then click OK.
3. In the Accounts Receivable list, click Periodic, click Interest and collection letter, and then click Collection letter note.
4. Review all the collection letter notes.
5. Print the collection letter.
6. Click Send electronically.
7. Post the collection letter.
