Resolution

Verify the selection formula on your Direct Deposit Advice Slips in Crystal Reports. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Report Control Maintenance (98.300.00) screen in Microsoft Dynamics SL
  2. Enter 02.635 in the Report Number field
  3. Note the values in the Report Format field for the first and seventh rows. These have to be different formats. By default the first row should show 02635 and the seventh row should show 02635PPDSO. These can be changed. However, the same value cannot be used for the first and seventh rows.
  4. The value in the first row of step 3 is the name of the crystal report file that is used to print the report to the printer. Open this report in Crystal Reports
  5. From the Report menu, select Selection Formula and then select Record...
  6. The formula should include the following:
    {PRCheckTran.ASID} = 0
  7. Save and close the report
  8. The value in the third row of step 3 is the name of the crystal report file that is used to email the report to the customer. Open this report in Crystal Reports
  9. From the Report menu, select Selection Formula and then select Record...
  10. The formula should include the following:
    {PRCheckTran.ASID} <> 0
  11. Save and close the report
