Because of this behavior, when you try to connect to the Network Policy Server role service through 802.1X Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) TLS or Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP), the TLS 1.0 protocol is used, and not the TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 protocol.
