Sales tax transactions are not included in the report of a sales tax payment and in the Intervat file in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You enable the Belgium Country/Regional specific feature in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1.
  • You generate a sales tax payment for a specific period.
  • You post a sales invoice that has tax included in the same period.
  • You generate another sales tax payment in the same period.
In this situation, sales tax transactions are not included in the report of the new sales tax payment and in the Intervat file.

This problem occurs because the system does not recognize the sales tax payment version.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
