Symptoms

Assume that you have an invoice proposal created for a transaction for a project in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you run the Add lines function to add a transaction to the invoice proposal, the amounts in the Now invoiced and the Now invoiced cost fields are doubled incorrectly.

Cause

This problem occurs because the system adds both transactions in the same line again without nullifying the values of the ProjProposalProj table when you run the Add lines function on an invoice proposal.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
