Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1):
  • You disable the Spanish configuration key and enable the German configuration key.
  • You create a sales order that has a cash discount included and has the List code field set to EU trade.
  • You post a payment for a free text invoice that is posted for the sales order.
  • You run the EU sales list function that has the Report cash discount parameter enabled.
  • You click Transfer.
  • You delete the corresponding cash discount entry that is displayed in the list.
  • You click Transfer again.
In this scenario, the cash discount entry is not displayed as expected.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
