Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • In GL Allocation Group Maintenance (01.290.00), you set up an allocation group that includes a value for Pool Sequence.
  • In Generate Allocations (01.580.00), you generate an allocation for this allocation group.
  • You run Indirect Rate Calculator (AL.IRC.00).
In this scenario, you notice that, on the Statement of Direct Expenses (PA470) report, the basis amount for the calculation of indirect expenses is reduced by the allocations that the Generate Allocations process created for the period.
