You cannot run the "Rebuild balances" and "Update balances" functions on a financial dimension set again after some problem occurs during the process in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Symptoms

Assume that you run the Rebuild balances function and the Update balances function on a financial dimension set in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Some problem occurs when you run the Update balances function. In this situation, when you try to run the Update balances function on the financial dimension set again, you receive the following error message:
The dimension set balances are already being loaded.
Additionally, you cannot run the Rebuild balances function on the financial dimension set.

Cause

This problem occurs because the focus state in the DimensionHierarcy table remains in process when a problem occurs during the "Rebuild balances" process or the "Update balances" process.
