Introduction

This article describes a new Best Practices Analyzer (BPA) rule that is available for Microsoft Lync Server 2010. The new rule checks whether the version of the real-time communications (RTC) database is correct and up to date. After you apply this update, the following three RTC database values are reported when you run BPA:
  • DbVersionSchema
  • DbVersionSproc
  • DBVersionUpgrade
If the database is out of date, a warning is displayed.
