Introduction

An update is available for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 that resolves the following issues.

Issue 1

Consider the following scenario:
  • You create a test case in Microsoft Test Manager 2010.
  • You enable the Actions diagnostic data adapter in the Data and Diagnostics section of the test case.
  • You use Test Manager to perform an action recording or a playback operation for the test case on a web application.
In this scenario, both Windows Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe) and Test Manager stop responding at the same time.

Issue 2

Consider the following scenario:
  • You create a coded UI test in Visual Studio 2010.
  • You use the coded UI test builder to perform an action recording or a playback operation for the test on a web application.
In this scenario, Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe) stops responding. Additionally, either the coded UI test builder or the QTAgent32.exe process stops responding.
