Symptoms

Assume that you create a sales order from an intercompany customer outside India and select the Autocreate intercompany orders check box for the sales order in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the India localization layer installed. Then, an intercompany sales order is automatically created in an Indian company and a purchase order is automatically created in the intercompany customer. In this situation, the system does not populate some required fields on the Tax information tab for the intercompany sales order as expected. Therefore, you cannot post the intercompany sales order in the Indian company.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
