Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You log on to a mailbox by using Microsoft Outlook Web App in Firefox 8 in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.
  • You open an email message that contains an attachment in Outlook Web App (OWA).
  • You save the attachment as File_name.type. For example, you save the attachment as File_name.xlsx.
In this scenario, the attachment is saved as attachment.ashx instead of file.xlsx.
