The autocomplete="off" parameter is missing in Outlook Web Access in an Exchange Server 2007 environment


Symptoms

You experience one of the following issues in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment.

Issue 1

Consider the follow scenario:
  • You log on to a mailbox by using Outlook Web Access.
  • You view the Change Password page.
  • You right-click the Change Password page, and then select the View Source command.
In this scenario, the autocomplete="off" parameter in the <input type=> tag is not displayed.

Issue 2

Consider the follow scenario:
  • You log on to a mailbox by using Outlook Web Access Basic in Mozilla Firefox.
  • You view the Change Password page.
  • You change the password and save your changes.
In this scenario, Firefox prompts you to decide whether you want Firefox to remember the password.
