Symptoms

When The BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion cannot load the .NET Framework assembly that defines the data conversion in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010, the component does not return an error. When this occurs, no data conversion is performed for files that are submitted to the component.

Hotfix information

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package 4 for Host Integration Server 2010.

More Information

After this update is applied, the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion returns an "Invalid assembly path" error message when it cannot load the .NET Framework assembly. This error message is logged in the Application log and in the Microsoft BizTalk Server Administration console.
