The system posts an incorrect realized cost amount for a production order when you end the production order in batch job in Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2009 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

When you end a production order in batch job in Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the system posts an incorrect value to the Realized cost amount field for the production order in the Calculation dialog box. In some cases, the value in the Realized cost amount field is doubled unexpectedly.

Cause

This problem occurs because of the update conflict in the updateJobJournal method. Therefore, the AmountFinancial value is not reinitialized and is summed up with the new calculated amount.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT.
