The Supersedence tab under the properties of an application may display information for a deleted application in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You create an application in Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. For example, you create App-V Client 4.6 RTM.
  • You create a new application and configure it to supersede the first application. For example, you create App-V Client 4.6 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
  • You delete the first application. For example, you delete the App-V Client 4.6 RTM application.
  • You open the properties of the second application and view the Supersedence tab.

In this scenario, the Supersedence tab displays an entry for the application that you deleted. However, you expect the Supersedence tab to be empty because you deleted the first application.
