The information about the case against an item record is blank when you add an association to an item in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Symptoms

Assume that you use the Case Management feature in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. You create a case from a sales order. When you add an association to an item, the information about the case against the item record, such as the item number and the name, is blank. Additionally, if you start from the item record and use the All cases option, the case does not appear.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
