Symptoms

Assume that you have several purchase requisitions that contain request for quote numbers in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you right-click Request for quote reference field, and then click Go to the Main Table Form on the General tab in the Purchase requisition dialog box for a specific purchase requisition, the system displays the Request for quote dialog box by selecting the last request for quote unexpectedly. However, the referred request for quote should be selected.

Cause

This problem occurs because the system cannot refer to the particular record that is passed from the caller form when you try to open the PurchRFQCase table.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
