INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you upload a file to a workspace in SharePoint Workspace 2010, and the file is broadcast to members in the workspace. If a user misses the broadcast, the user does not know that a new file has been uploaded until other users in the workspace update the previously uploaded file.
  • Assume that you enable a policy that blocks file tools on Microsoft Groove Server 2010 Manager. Then, you apply the policy on a SharePoint Workspace 2010 workspace. However, when you try to invite users to the workspace, an error occurs, and the invitation is not delivered.
  • Data that is stored in the Groovebinaryfilestore.xss file on a client computer that is running SharePoint 2010 is not deleted as expected when a workspace is deleted.
  • Assume that you use Group Policy Objects to prohibit Groove workspaces in SharePoint Workspace 2010. When you start SharePoint Workspace 2010, it unexpectedly sets a SOAP connection to "provision.groove.microsoft.com."
  • Assume that a list item contains an attachment on a SharePoint site. You delete the attachment from the list item, and then you sync a workspace with the SharePoint site. In this situation, an error occurs in the workspace.
