INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that a form template has a data connection to a SharePoint list that contains many items. Additionally, assume that rules that are based on the data connection are applied to the form template. In this situation, it takes longer than expected to query the data connection to the SharePoint list in SharePoint Server 2010.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You configure outgoing email for a SharePoint Server 2010 server.
    • You create a workflow for a list.
    • You assign the workflow to an approver by using an email address that the People Picker control cannot resolve.
    • You add an item to the list, the workflow starts, and then the approver receives an email message about a task in the workflow.
In this scenario, the task is not assigned to the approver.

Note The task in the workflow should be assigned automatically to an approver.
  • Assume that you create a SharePoint list, and then you convert the list to an InfoPath form. Additionally, assume that anonymous users have permission to submit and save items to the list, but anonymous users do not have permission to view items in the list. When an anonymous user tries to submit or save a new item to the list, the user receives the following error message:
    Error when processing form
