Consider the following scenario:
- You are in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment that has Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or a later update rollup installed.
- You create a retention policy tag for the Calendar folder or for the Tasks folder. To do this, you run the New-RetentionPolicyTag cmdlet together with the Type parameter set to Calendar or to Tasks in Exchange Management Shell.
Note You cannot create a retention policy tag for the Calendar folder or for the Tasks folder by using Exchange Management Console. - You add the retention policy tag to a retention policy, and then you apply the retention policy to a mailbox.
