The system transfers incorrect data into the "Italian black list" report when you post a purchase order that has miscellaneous charges in foreign currency in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 with the Italian features enabled

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Italian features enabled:
  • You apply hotfix 2309385 and hotfix 2525797.
  • You create a purchase order that uses a foreign currency.
  • You set up miscellaneous charges for the purchase order that use the same foreign currency.
  • You post the invoice for the purchase order.
  • You run the "Italian black list" report.
In this scenario, the system transfers incorrect values to the Net amount field and to the VAT amount field for one of the transactions in the Italian black list report dialog box. Also, the system selects the Credit note transaction check box for the transaction unexpectedly.

Cause

This problem occurs because the amount value should be converted into the currency that the correct company uses when system transfers transitions to the "Italian black list" report. Also, the system executes wrong logic in deciding whether the Credit note transaction check box should be selected. In fact, the Credit note transaction check box should be selected if the purchase order or the sales order is created from a credit note.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
