More Information

Virtualized applications must be updated outside System Center Configuration Manager. For more information about this process, visit the following Microsoft TechNet website:When the new manifest is updated, it should be imported into System Center Configuration Manager. To do this, use the Update Content option for the App-V Deployment Type for the virtualized application. This causes the Revision number of the virtual application to increase. This increase in the Revision number prompts the clients to download the new version.
