Issues that this update package fixes

This cumulative update fixes the following issues:
  • 2621841 A Lync 2010 user can still send files that contain a long file name after the file transfer is blocked
  • 2673302 A user cannot call a number that matches a normalization rule that begins with optional digits in a Lync Server 2010 environment
  • 2673299 A delegate cannot perform operations on behalf of the manager in a Lync Server 2010 environment
  • 2675222 The Address Book service does not synchronize user information when data in the RTC database is corrupted in a Lync Server 2010 environment
  • 2666349 Delay processing incoming calls in Lync Server 2010
  • 2658817 Calls do not always connect if you have a DNS balancer and multi-homed network deployed in a Lync Server 2010 environment
  • 2658816 An update is available to increase the range of the white space keep alive time intervals that Lync Server 2010 allows

To apply this cumulative update, install the Server.msp package on computers that are running the following server roles:
  • Lync Server 2010 – Standard Edition Server
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition - Front-end
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition – Standalone Audio Video Conferencing Server
Note After you install this update, we recommend that you clear the cache in Windows Internet Explorer to join a meeting. You must do this because a cached Javascript file prevents you from joining the meeting. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open Internet options in Internet Explorer.
  2. Switch to the General tab.
  3. Click the Delete… button in the Browsing history section, and then click OK.

Removal information

To remove this cumulative update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.
