Update information

Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, multi-environment plug-in that delivers the next generation of Microsoft .NET-based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the web.

This update offers a new build (version 4.1.10111.0) that is an upgrade to earlier versions of Silverlight. This update is included in current Silverlight installers.

How to hide this update so that it does not appear again

Windows XP
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
  2. Click Custom.
  3. Click to clear the check box that is next to the update that you want to hide.
  4. Expand the update that you want to hide, and then click to select the Don't show this update again check box.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Update.
  2. Click Check for updates.
  3. After the scan for updates is complete, click the Optional updates are available link.
  4. In the Select the updates you want to install section, right-click the update that you want to hide, and then click Hide update.
  5. Click OK.
