Inconsistencies between sales tax transactions and voucher transactions are generated when you create invoices that contains sales taxes in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

When you create an invoice for a sales order that has the Prices incl. sales tax check box selected in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the invoice is created incorrectly. Additionally, inconsistencies between the sales tax transactions and the voucher transactions are generated.

This problem occurs because the system rounds the taxes incorrectly.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
