DiskRaid.exe does not populate "Array Lun number" correctly

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

You have a Virtual Disk Service (VDS) 3.0 hardware provider installed that supports “LUN NUMBER SUPPORTED” feature on a computer (HOST) that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7.

When you run the Diskraid command to list the LUNs on the subsystem the right most column shows the array assigned LUN number. After selecting a HOST exposed LUN (NT Disk) and unmask it with /uninstall option. The disk will be uninstalled from the host system and then mask setting applied.

If you now execute the command “List luns” the selected LUN will now not show the array assigned LUN Number.
