FIX: Error message when you open a Transaction Integrator trace file in Host Integration Server 2010: "File could not be interpreted - TI Time Format not recognized"

Symptoms

You capture a Transaction Integrator trace file on a server that is running Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010. When you open the trace file on a server that is running Host Integration Server, you receive the following Trace Viewer utility error message:
Trace File Error - path\trace_file_name
File could not be interpreted - TI Time Format not recognized.

Note This problem occurs if you capture a Transaction Integrator trace on a system that uses a date and time format that uses a numeric value for the month such as the value 12 to represent the month of December.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Host Integration Server Trace Viewer utility checks for a three-letter name for the month when it parses the time and date fields in the trace file.

Resolution

Hotfix information

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package 3 for Host Integration Server 2010.
