FIX: Intermittent crashes may occur for the w3wp.exe process on a server that is running in a Forefront Unified Access Gateway 2010 array

Symptoms

You may experience intermittent crashes of the w3wp.exe process on a server that is running in a Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway 2010 array. All clients that use SSL VPN (Secure Sockets Layer virtual private network) network access are disconnected when the crash occurs. Additionally, the crash occurs on both nodes of the array.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the rollup package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
