Consider the following scenario:
In this scenario, the characters are displayed in the MS Gothic font. Additionally, you cannot display the characters in the MS Mincho font or in the MS PMincho font without the AC3 font compression technology.
Note This issue does not occur when the run-time image uses the AC3 fonts.
- You run a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based run-time image on a device.
- The run-time image uses TrueType fonts instead of AC3 fonts.
- You set Japanese as the default system locale on the device.
- You select the MS Mincho font or the MS PMincho font to display some characters.
In this scenario, the characters are displayed in the MS Gothic font. Additionally, you cannot display the characters in the MS Mincho font or in the MS PMincho font without the AC3 font compression technology.
