INTRODUCTION

This article describes that a country-specific update is available to provide the Access Key field for purchase invoices and customer returned order invoices in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Brazil localization layer installed.

More Information

From January 1, 2012, the NF-e Access Key information is required for all types of invoices on the Sistema Público de Escrituração Digital (SPED) fiscal reporting.
A country-specific update is now available for Dynamics AX 2009 SP1 with the Brazil localization layer installed to provide the Access Key field for purchase invoices and customer returned order invoices.

It is applicable for purchase invoices that use the tax fiscal document type with the Electronic invoice (federal) check box selected.
When you post a purchase invoice, in the "Purchase edit lines" form, a new field, the Access Key field, is available in the "Invoice header" grid.

It is also applicable for customer returned order invoices.
When you receive a customer invoice that refers to a returned sales order, in the "Sales edit lines" form, the Access Key field on the Setup tab must be entered.

The Access Key field will be exported in the invoice headers, for the third-party software, to generate SPED fiscal files accordingly.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
