FIX: A HIP application does not accept incoming requests over multiple TCP/IP ports

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You configure a Host Initiated Processing (HIP) application to listen on multiple TCP/IP ports.
  • You start the HIP application.

In this scenario, the HIP application initializes and can accept incoming requests over the first TCP/IP port that you configured. However, the HIP application does not accept incoming requests over the other TCP/IP ports that you configured.

Hotfix information

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package 3 for Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010.
