FP2000: Mso9.dll Is Missing When You Start Your Computer

Symptoms

When you start or restart your computer, you may receive a message warning that the file Mso9.dll or one of its components is missing.

When you click OK on the message, Microsoft Windows starts and everything works as expected.

Cause

This behavior can occur if Microsoft Find Fast appears on your computer's Startup menu and you have removed Microsoft FrontPage 2000 from your computer. When you remove FrontPage 2000, Find Fast is also removed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, remove Find Fast from your Startup menu. To do this, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, point to Programs, point to Startup, and then right-click Find Fast.
2.Click Delete on the shortcut menu.
