FIX: Error message when you open a Transaction Integrator trace file in Host Integration Server 2010: "File could not be interpreted - String was not recognized as a valid DateTime"

Symptoms

You capture a Transaction Integrator trace file on a server that is running Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010. When you open the trace file on a server that is running Host Integration Server and that uses a different system locale, you receive the following Trace Viewer utility error message:
Trace File Error - path\trace_file_name
File could not be interpreted - String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

Resolution

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package 2 for Host Integration Server 2010.

Workaround

To work around this problem, open the trace file on a server that is running Host Integration Server and that is configured to use the same locale as the server on which the trace was captured.
