The OBR component incorrectly marks the Mediation server as down after the CAC feature is enabled in Lync Server 2010

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Assume that the Call Admission Control (CAC) feature is enabled, and the bandwidth policy is configured in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment. A CAC failure occurs, and then the Mediation server sends a 503 response that includes a 370 or 371 warning. In this situation, the Lync Server 2010 Outbound Routing component incorrectly marks the Lync Server 2010 Mediation server as down.

Note The Outbound Routing component should not mark the Mediation server as down if the 370 or 371 warning is included in the 503 response from the Mediation server.
