Symptoms

Assume that you create a purchase order line or a sales order return line in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). You specify the warehouse that is used to receive the goods. When you then perform the Registration process or the Item Arrival process, the details are transferred from the line to the receiving process. In this situation, when you then try to perform the Registration process or the Item Arrival Journal process to receive the items, you receive the following error message:
If the items are to be registered directly on a location, it must be in a quarantine warehouse.
This problem occurs if you enable the Quarantine management setting.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
