Symptoms

In Outlook 2000, if you select a calendar appointment and copy it, and then attempt to paste the appointment to a different day, a duplicate appointment is created on the original date.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, obtain and install the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. As of April 2003, this is Service Pack 3 (SP-3) for Office 2000. Workaround

To work around this problem, apply Outlook 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1), and then apply the post-SR-1 fix for Microsoft Office 2000.
