Symptoms

Assume that you apply hotfix 2581600 in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the India localization layer installed. When you run the "Withholding tax payment" process for multiple types of tax deducted at source (TDS) groups, you receive the following error message:
No withholding tax transactions to settle. The period is however, now registered as settled.
In this situation, only the first TDS group is processed and settled. The other TDS groups are not processed as expected.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
