"System Message 8058" when you use "Transaction Import (98.500.00)" screen to import data into the "Payment Application (08.030.00)" screen in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Transaction Import and Accounts Receivable in Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011:
  • You use the Transaction Import (98.500.00) screen to import data into the Payment Application (08.030.00) screen.
  • The Run Minimized check box is not selected.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
System Message 8058: Invalid Currency ID
This error message occurs even though the currency ID that is used in the transaction import data file is valid.

Resolution
