INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You cannot open a project from the Project Center page in Project Server 2007 when the project contains a task that has formatted task notes.
  • The timephased baseline cost values may be incorrect in the Reporting database in Project Server 2007 when cost resources are assigned to tasks.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You assign a team task in a plan to yourself through Project Web Application (PWA).
    • You open the project that contains the plan in Project Professional 2007.
    • You click No when you are prompted to apply the update to the plan.
    • You create another task in the plan.
    • You save and publish the plan in Project Professional 2007.
    In this scenario, Project Server 2007 cannot publish the plan, and the plan cannot be used.
  • You cannot edit security categories that contain more than 1000 projects. This issue occurs when one or more projects are archived and then renamed.

Prerequisites

You must have the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 2 or the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 3 installed to apply this hotfix package.
