INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you install Visio 2010 on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008. When you use the Documents.OpenEx method and the visOpenHidden and visAddhidden arguments to open a Visio document, the preview of the opened document appears unexpectedly in a preview thumbnail on the taskbar. Additionally, the document appears unexpectedly in the recent file list in the Jump List.
  • When you create a symbolic link file for a Visio document, you cannot open the symbolic link file in Visio 2010.
  • Assume that you have a Visio document that was created in Visio 2007 or Visio 2003. The document contains a signed VBA project and an OLE Control eXtension (OCX) control. When you open the document in Visio 2010, the digital signature is removed from the document, and you receive the following error message:
You have modified a signed project. You do not have the correct key to sign this project. This signature will be discarded.
Note If the Trust Center is configured to trust only digitally signed macro, the OCX control is disabled.
