More Information

You can add documents as large as 3.5 megabytes (MB) to your health records in HealthVault. An example would be a spreadsheet that tracks medical expenses. If you have View and modify or custodian access, you can upload the document to the health record as a file.

To upload a file, follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to your HealthVault account.
  2. In the navigation pane on the right side of the page, click Health information.

  3. Click the plus (+) sign next to Documents in the Files category.
  4. Browse to the file by using one of the following methods:
    • Type the path of where the file is stored on the computer together with an optional description.
    • Click Browse, and then locate the file on your drive.

  5. Click Save.

Note Click the link for HealthVault Code of Conduct before you upload files for the first time.

  6. The file is now in your health record. If you view the Documents (File) category on the Health Information page, you will see the file listed there.
