INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2010. This update provides the latest fix for the 32-bit edition of Office 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issue that this update fixes

Consider the following scenario:

  • You configure a custom filter for a column header in datasheet view. The column header is in a list on a SharePoint Server 2010 site.
  • You switch to standard view, and then you switch back to datasheet view.
  • You try to configure another custom filter.
In this scenario, the drop-down fields are not displayed in the custom filter.

How to uninstall this update
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
  3. Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.
    • Windows 7 and Windows Vista
      1. Click View installed updates.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2589275, and then click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP
      1. Click to select the Show updates check box.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2589275, and then click Remove.
