Symptoms

After you uninstall Internet Explorer 5.5 from Windows 95, the following icons may appear as white pages with the Windows flag:
My Computer
Network Neighborhood
Recycle Bin
Control Panel
Printers
Dial-Up Networking Inbox

Cause

This behavior can occur if you install Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95 after you install Internet Explorer.
