Custom Components Not Installed Correctly on Terminal Server Using IEAK 5.5

Symptoms

If you choose to install custom components after you install Internet Explorer (after the reboot when you are using Internet Explorer Administration Kit 5.5), the custom components may not be installed correctly.

The components may be installed, but work only for the user who installed them (because the registry setting is applied only to that user).

Cause

This behavior occurs because you must set a Terminal Server in Install mode before you install a custom component.
